Ellery Creek Big-hole to Wallace Rock Hole turn off

Proposed trip, dependant on permit approval.
The plan is to Meet Flynns Grave at 10:30am. Travel to Ellery Creek big hole. Air down then turn south and follow the old pastoral roads south through the ranges to Larapinta Drive (see map below). Stopping along the way to have lunch somewhere. The track will most likely over grown so bush pin striping is almost certain. Much of the start of the track appears to be in the river bead so expect sandy conditions. The trip will be restricted to 6 vehicles including myself to minimise environmental impact.
Because of the permit process I have applied for a permit for myself and car. The remaining 5 spots will be on a first in first served basis. As soon as we have filled the remaining spots or 1 week has passed (what ever happens first) I will complete the permit for the remaining vehicles. If the trip proves popular we can try and fill up the cars as best we can so as many people can join. The trip leader will carry the club spot tracker and will nominate a stay home Charlie to monitor our progress.
Please understand as this trip requires permits, this means we will have to adhear to any conditions put on the permit. Also do not attempt to do this individually with out consent as we don’t want to ruin the chances of any future similar permits.( This was a pointed brought up discussed with a member of the CLC office)

Please bring
Plenty of water, lunch, recovery gear, tyre deflating equipment.
