Hi Bernhard, I have already booked our accommodation for the night of the 16th at Hale River and I have given them a heads up about the possibility of more members booking campsites. The powered campsites are $40 per night.

Sophie has reserved the upper camp ground with 6 powered sites and more unpowered.

Everybody needs to bring their own lunches, breakfast and food for the bbq.

The vehicles need to have high clearance. The maximum number due to expected traffic and track condition at Ruby Gap should not be more than 10.

I would expect to gather at the usual Heavitree Gap location at the servo at 9 am for a 9:15 departure. Head out to Arltunga hitoric reserve for a look around and have a picnic lunch then head over to Hale River Homestead arriving there sometime after 2 PM to check-in. Free time at Hale River and maybe a group BBQ that night starting around 6PM. Sunday morning head out to Ruby Gap leaving at 9 AM, have lunch at Ruby Gap and time to explore before heading back to Alice with an end time of 5PM back in town. People will need to book there accommodation at Hale River Homestead as soon as possible due to the time of year being tourist season the place is filling up fast but if booked now all should be good.

Usually 10l per person/day are enough in case things go wrong.
Medical conditions should be written up and carried in a closed envelope in the glove compartment.
