Trip Details:
Please meet at the Heavy Tree Gap servo for a prompt 08.30 start. Chambers Pillar is a 320km round trip, so you will need a full tank of fuel.

The track to Chambers Pillar can be a bit rough and corrugated with deep sand drifts, so a 4WD and recovery gear is essential.

As it is likely to still get warm during the day, please bring plenty of water and snacks for the day.

Once we arrive, we can go for a walk/explore or just kick back and relax under a shady tree.

There are picnic areas in the reserve, so we are planning to have a lunchtime BBQ. Please byo meat/salad.

For safety, the lead vehicle will have a sand flag attached and will be carrying a SPOT tracker.

Pets are not permitted in the reserve.
