meet at Murray st, Larapinta at 17:30 to leave soon after (understand people may still be knocking off work).

Plan – Grab some food and meet us at Murray St.
From there we go into the unknown. I have heard of a track that leads into the hills and ends up at the western lookout just past widow maker. Once we make our way to the lookout (or some other random hill) we shall have a bite to eat and some dinner and a chat with other members and make our way home as everyone sees fit.

Disclaimer: Although I have done this track a fair while ago, the condition is unknown since the rain. High clearance 4wd and low range is a must for this based on what the condition was like last time I drove it. Have report there is only one challenging section and drivable with no lockers and from there its all good. But if your up for the challenge, or even don’t want to drive and happy to ride shotgun with someone that is, it can be a great experience and stunning drive.
equipment to bring: chairs, food, drinks, basic recovery equipment, comms. A med kit will be on hand as well. Closed in shoes highly recommended.
