Meeting place & time: Met at the John Flynn Memorial on Larapinta Drive at 7.45am
Trip Distance (approx.): Outgoing Trip to Newhaven is 5hrs 31 Minutes 489km – Via Namatjira Drive to Papunya and Mount Wedge (Private) Road

Home-coming Trip 349km 3.30 Hours Via the Tanami Track stopping at Tilmouth Road House for fuel

Itinerary The Plan is to leave Alice Springs on Friday the 25th at 8.00am and travel to Papunya with the plan to refuel and also go to the art gallery.
Then to travel on to Newhaven Sanctuary.

The plan is to spend Friday afternoon and Saturday at Newhaven. (There is some driving tracks 2 to 5 hours within the reserve. if you plan to do these you will need to have fuel to cover this. Newhaven does not have fuel)

Sunday 27th the plan is to leave at midday and travel back to Alice via the Tanami Rd
Recovery Equipment: Standard equipment: Jack and spare tyres, tow road snatch rope and tracks. This is basically a road trip. It’s unclear as to the condition of tracks within the reserve and Mount Wedge Road
Anything else recommended to bring
Eg chairs, food, water etc Camping Fee is $10.00 per night.
