The Plan…
Saturday 23/01/2020 – 12:00noon Departure – 186km sealed
-Muster at Shell North End Truck Stop at 11:45am for a 12:00noon Departure
-Travel to Tilmouth Well Roadhouse via the Tanami Hwy.
-Please have had lunch prior or bring food to eat on the run as we will not be stopping.
-Arrive at Tilmouth Well Roadhouse mid-afternoon (fuel available).
-They have a great lawned poolside area to swim, relax and have a few refreshments.
-Dinner is the option between BYO, counter meals or a group BBQ (meats & salads provided).
-This can be discussed and decided upon closer to the time.
-Airconditioned cabins are available and unpowered/powered camp sites.
-When booking please mention you are with the Outback 4WD Club.

Sunday 24/01/2021 – 10:00am Departure – 400km (218km sealed, 182km dirt)
-Depart 10:00am to return to Alice Springs via Haast Bluff and Namatjira Drive.
-Stop at Hasst Bluff for a photo opportunity and lunch break. If the interest is there we can visit the Art Centre (book in advance www.ikuntji.com.au).
-Hope to arrive back to Alice Spring mid/late afternoon

Please Bring:
Day one Lunch/snacks if needed.
Day two breakfast if not dining at the roadhouse.
Day two Lunch
Plenty of water, hat, sunscreen, swimmers etc.
Second spare tyre if practical.
Recovery equipment should not be needed but welcome to bring.
Tyre puncture repair kit if practical.
UHF, let us know if you require a club radio.
Spot tracker/PLB/Sat-Phone if you own one.

Please remember, we are travelling in January so expect temperatures to be in the high 40’s. Time in the heat will be limited but in the event of breakdowns etc, we need to be prepared.
