A great morning out for all involved. We trekked down the Old South road to the Alice Springs Off Road Racing Club where we were granted access for this training day.

We had Jol from Direct 4wd Awareness leading the trip, and one of our experienced 4wd trainer/club member also assisting.

We conquered many sand hills, practised driving vehicles in low-range, and learning about optimum engine speeds, tyre pressures, traction, and momentum to safely and successfully negotiate each challenge ahead of us.

The recovery equipment stayed in the box for today.
