Another successful Xmas in July was recently held out at Ross River Resort. Although not as many attended this year, a good time was had by all. To set the scene, we camped in a nice open area surrounded by rocky escarpment and sat by a nice crackling campfire. The weather was cold but tolerable. And the company was fantastic.

It was great to see people getting into the Christmas spirit with Christmas carols and funny hats. The kids enjoyed running around with their nerf guns all afternoon. Some amazing food was cooked in the camp oven, like Ian’s roast pork and Leo’s ham. Some beautiful desserts were made, such as Bernhard’s Dresdener Stollen and Mike’s pecan and pumpkin pies.

We all went away feeling pleasantly plump and wishing there was a Xmas in August!
